The Wave-Particle Duality of Matter
This video was filmed in Belgium and the USA over a long summer holiday in 2017. I was participating in a lot of video contests at the time, and this one (The Breakthrough Junior Challenge) had a cash prize of USD 250,000 - no small change! In the end, I didn't win, but I learned a lot and it was the first time I was really humbled by Quantum Mechanics. Looking back, the 'Everything is waves' interpretation of QM is not so current anymore, and is mainly associated with Erwin Schroedinger.
